PABA Benefits Para-aminobenzoic acid is often referred to as PABA. It is often considered to be an ingredient only used in sunscreens. The fact is that PABA is also a nutritional ingredient. If a person is put on antibiotics for an extended period of time, then more PABA may be required in the body. Although not sufficiently documented in medical terms, some women have trouble conceiving after they have increased the PABA in their diet. You can find PABA in liver, brewer’s yeast, whole grains, spinach, kidney, molasses and mushrooms. PABA can also be manufactured by intestinal bacteria.
